My Second Book of Poems Now Available on Amazon!

I’m pickled pink to announce that my second collection of poems–fatter than the first–is now available on Amazon! I really love these poems and the way the book looks. Have a look at the link below! Though I may be biased, I think this would make a great Christmas present.

Right now, it’s only available as a paperback and not electronically. I started to make a Kindle one available and then stopped. The physical experience of having the book was so delicious to me that I wanted–at least for now–that to be how others experience it.

Thanks to all of you who have liked and commented on the poems I’ve posted here. I know I’m not the most active purveyor of other peoples’ blogs, so I’m extra appreciative of those of you who take the time to express your appreciation of my poems.

About nosuchthingasastraightline

I grew up in tiny Lyme, New Hampshire, where I drew, roamed the surrounding woods, and first entertained the idea of God while listening to my mom's Beatles records. I studied biology at Harvard University where I wrote for The Harvard Lampoon and also began writing poetry. I have since made a living variously as a comedy screenwriter, teacher, and private tutor in math, science and writing. I’ve released three CDs of original music as the singer-songwriter and guitar player for Crooked Roads (listen to latest tracks here: My poetry writing has been inspired by Rumi, Billy Collins, William Carlos Williams, e.e. cummings, Antonio Machado, Federico Garcia Lorca, and others. My two books of poetry, "The Morning I Married the Sky," and “Free this Morning” are both available on Amazon.
